Telus Webmail is the preferred method for accessing, managing and using Telus.net email accounts. It has the ability to store contacts, calendar, and tasks and has a 5GB storage limit. Most TELUS customers receive 10 complimentary TELUS.net email addresses when subscribed to one of our Internet packages.

One account is automatically created when signing up for TELUS Internet; the rest can be added later with no extra charges.

TELUS Email is another way of referring to Telus.net accounts.

TELUS Webmail offers you an easy to use the email account with the features like:

Email

  • Customize your email box view.
  • Configure your Telus Webmail Settings.
  • View shortcut key combinations available for quick navigation within your mailbox.

SET UP TELUS EMAIL ON YOUR COMPUTER USING OUTLOOK

  • Open Outlook.
  • If you have not previously set up an account in Outlook:

              - You will see a welcome message, click next

              - Select yes, and click next

  • If you have previously set up another account in Outlook

              - Click File

             - From the left pane, select Info

             - Select +Add Account

  • Select Manual setup or additional server types
  • Fill the information

            - Your Name

            - Email Address

            - Account Type

           - Incoming mail server

           - Outgoing mail server

           - Username

           - Password

  • Click More Settings
  • Under the outgoing server tab

              1. Check the box next to My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication

              2. Select Log on Using

                     - Username

                     - Password

                     - Check the Remember password checkbox

                     - Check the Require Secure Password Authentication (SPA) checkbox

  • Under the Advanced tab

               - Incoming server (IMAP): 993

               - Use encrypted connection: SSL/TLS

               - Outgoing server (SMTP): 465

               - Use encrypted connection: SSL/TLS

  • Click Ok
  • Click Next if required
  • Outlook will run its checks and attempt to login to the email server

SET UP TELUS EMAIL ON YOUR iPhone OR iPad

  • Go to the Settings > Mail > Accounts > Add Account
  • Tap other to add your account manually.
  • Enter your email address and password.
  • Tap next and wait for Mail to verify your account.
  • Choose the content you want to sync. Tap Save.

SET UP TELUS EMAIL ON YOUR COMPUTER USING WINDOWS 10 EMAIL

  • With Mail open, go to bottom of the left navigation pane choose
    • Select Settings
    • Select Manage Accounts
    • Select Add account
  • Choose other accounts
  • Enter the information:

                - Email address: Your TELUS.net email address

                - Password: Your TELUS.net password

  • Click Sign in
  • If Its fail to add the account, select Advanced
  • Fill the information

                 - Account name: Telus

                 - Your name

                 - Incoming mail server: imap.telus.net

                 - Account type: IMAP

                 - Port: 993

                - Email address

                - Username

                - Password

               - Outgoing mail server: smtp.telus.net

               - Port: 465

               - Check "outgoing server requires authentication"

               - Check "Use the same username and password for sending email"

               - Uncheck SSL for incoming and outgoing email

  • Click Sign in
